Common Questions
California Custom Space Design FAQ
How long does the design process typically take?
The timeline varies by project complexity. A standard ADU design might take 4-6 weeks, while a custom home can take several months. We prioritize efficiency without compromising quality.
Do you handle the permit process with the city?
Yes, we offer full Plan Permit Processing services. We handle the submissions, follow-ups, and corrections required by local building departments to ensure your project gets approved.
What is the difference between an ADU and a JADU?
An ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) is a full independent living unit, while a JADU (Junior ADU) is smaller (max 500 sq ft) and must be contained within the existing walls of a single-family home.
Can I see a 3D model of my project before construction?
Absolutely. We offer 3D Virtual Tours and high-end renderings as part of our design services so you can visualize every detail of your project before construction begins.
